Killeen , tx — Three Killeen teens have been arrested after they allegedly committed robbery and fled from officers on January 25.
According to the police report, officers responded to a 911 call from a person who had just been robbed by three black males in a white Ford Crown Victoria, just before 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 25. The caller advised the operator that he was meeting with a person in the area of Minthorn and Weiss, in reference to an ad on Craigslist, to purchase a set of rims for his vehicle. When the victim arrived, he was asked to sit in the sellers Crown Victoria. The victim was robbed of his money at gunpoint and made to get out of the vehicle. The suspects then fled the area in the Crown Victoria, but the victim was able to follow the suspects and call 911. Officers with the Killeen Independent School District also heard the call and located the suspected vehicle that was fleeing from them.
During the pursuit, police say the suspects abandoned their vehicle on Green Oaks Drive and fled on foot. KISD Officers and Killeen police began searching the area. There were reports that the suspects had jumped several residents fences and were hiding. As the officers were searching the area, one of the officers saw a small, black, four door vehicle, in the area of Chimney Rock and Briarcroft Lane. The vehicle was occupied by a lone black female as it drove by. Shortly afterwards, the same vehicle was seen backing out of a driveway in the nearby area. At that point, the vehicle was occupied by the female driver and three black males, matching the description of the suspects from the robbery. The vehicle was stopped and all four occupants were detained. It was later determined that the males were identified as the suspects in the Aggravated Robbery. The suspects were arrested and transported to the Killeen City Jail.
This case was reviewed by the Bell County District Attorney’s Office, and a complaint was returned, charging 19-year-old Antonio Marquise Belford, 19-year-old Tre’quan Shavae Locke and 17-year-old Travon Andra Foster-Jones, each with Aggravated Robbery with a Firearm. Justice of the Peace, Garland Potvin, set their bond at $100,000 each. They are currently in the Bell County Jail.
These males have been linked to other similar cases and because of this, their photos will not be released at this time.
This case continues to be investigated and information will be provided as it becomes available.
