The founder of a pro-life memorial park in Waco is in disbelief after a portion of his symbolic memorial was mowed over.

Each of the 4000 crosses at Rachel's Memorial Park represents the number of abortions performed each day in America.

On Sunday, about 600 of them were ran over.

Rev. Rusty Lee Thomas founded the park back in 2000.

He has repaired acts of vandalism a couple times through past ten years but lately he's seen the level of animosity rise.

"This is a whole different level of evil in the sense that, for 40 years our nation has allowed the destruction of the pre-born child, and now we have those among us that seek to wipe out their very memory," said Thomas

Thomas promises to rebuild the memorial and perhaps set up a chain-link fence to prevent future vandalism.

If you have any information you are urged to call Waco Police.
