Baylor mourning the loss of Kevin Signo
Waco, TX — The Baylor community is still mourning the loss of a student who died Sunday from an accidental fall.
Freshman Kevin Signo was attempting a back flip during dance rehearsal Saturday night before severely hitting his head on the ground.
The meeting was for the Filipino Student Association, an organization Signo was very active within during his first year.
He was transferred to Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center where he eventually passed away Sunday morning.
“Kevin was very well liked. He was very engaged. He was very active in our community and just had a number of friends and classmates who will miss him very much," said Lori Fogleman of Baylor University.
Baylor is offering counseling for those involved.
Visitation for Signo will be held in Allen on Friday night.
His funeral service will be held Saturday morning.
Signo was 18 years old.
