Bellmead, TX — A man evading police in Texas has finally been caught after five years.

On Monday, a Texas DPS trooper pulled over Jose Lucio-Mares, 26, in Bellmead for a burned out tail light.

Lucio was wanted since 2007 on two charges of aggravated sexual assault of a child in Fort Worth.

Lucio told police he had been in Mexico since then.

Lucio is now in the McLennan County Jail.
