A new exhibit opened in Waco this week at the Mayborn Museum Complex at Baylor.

It’s called 'Robots and Us' and it aims to explain to kids growing up in the 21st century just how far we’ve come in the field of robotics.

Kids can see an assembly plant arm in action.

There are also robots that follow directed light, as well as a detailed history in the evolution of robots.

Coordinators say it’s a fun way to learn and engage young kids.

“There are different types of learners. Some people learn more by doing. And I think if you’re having fun, I think everything sticks a little better in your mind," said Rebecca Tucker-Nall of the Mayborn Museum.

The exhibit runs until April 28.
