Bruceville-Eddy, TX — A Bruceville-Eddy family is now without a home after an explosion destroyed their house late last night.

Police rececived a 9-1-1 call around midnight on Thursday.

The explosion ignited a fire inside the home and spread to four nearby parked cars.

It took three hours for the Bruceville-Eddy Volunteer fire department to finally put out the flames at the house on Soules Circle Road.

Luckily, the homeowner, a mother and her two kids got out safely.

The State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating what caused the explosion.
