It was a surprise lose by the top seeded Lady Bears, who lost Tuesday night to the Aggies 58-46, after they had beat them three times this season.

Baylor star-player, Brittney Griner, had a career high on Sunday, scoring 40 points, but only scored 20 against their historical rival. Griner says, "just my shots wasn't falling. There wasn't anything in it, anything A&M did. Just poor shooting."

Senior Melissa Jones, who scored 13 points and had 17 rebounds, tearfully admitted A&M simply played the better game. Jones says, "We just didn't come prepared. We didn't make shots. We just weren't ready to play. WE just didn't play well at all, and you've got to give credit where credits due, and A&M deserved it."

A&M head coach, Gary Blair, says Griner may be the best player in America, but "Melissa Jones, she's the heart and should of that basketball team."

"We just didn't come prepared. We didn't make shots. We just weren't ready to play. We just didn't play well at all. And you've got to give credit where credits due, and A&M deserved it."

A lot of people were shocked that A&M and the Lady Bears were even in the same bracket, but coach Blair says they embraced it from day one. "They put us here. We accepted the challenge. We went in there and played hard."

The Aggies now get their first shot in the NCAA Final Four. They will be playing Stanford, another top-seeded team, this Sunday.
