AWOL soldier indicted on 3 federal charges

WACO -- The AWOL soldier accused of planning an attack near fort hood may only face up to 30-years in prison.

Nasser Jason Abdo was indicted on three federal charges today by a federal grand jury in Waco.

He's charged with possession of an unregistered destructive device, possession of a firearm and possession of ammunition by a fugitive from justice.

The 21-year-old faces up to 10 years in federal prison on each charge if convicted.
