WACO -- Baylor football fans are still glowing today after defeating 5th ranked Oklahoma for the first time in school history.

"It was incredible. Being able to rush the field twice your freshman year, with first the TCU game and then the Oklahoma game was definitely exciting," said a Baylor freshman.

Another Baylor student agreed.

"Robert Griffin just threw the pass we scored that touchdown. So it was great and it was really exciting. It's just great, feel good to be a Baylor Bear."

It came down to the final seconds when Robert Griffin hit Terrance Williams with a 34-yard touchdown pass, Taking the game 45-38.

"My thought process was I'm going to get hit either way so I might as well give him a shot. You know I threw it on a line and got hit pretty hard afterwards and the rest is history. You know, I was on the ground when he caught it and the linemen jumped on me and told me we just won the game," said Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin III.

But credit is also due on the defensive side of the ball.

"Our guys on that side of the ball are playing with a lot of, a lot of confidence and a lot of spirit right now. They believe in the direction they're going. And, and stopping a run is critical, you know regardless who you're playing," said Baylor Head Football Coach Art Briles.

The win over Oklahoma bumps Baylor to 21 in the AP poll.

Now the bears look to improve their bowl position as they face Texas Tech at Cowboys Stadium this Saturday.
