BRYAN -- The seventh annual Broomball tournament between the Bryan and College Station police departments is one day away and the smack talking has already begun.
Tomorrow night the police departments will battle it out on the ice to try and raise money for the Brazos County Coalition Against Domestic Violence.
The different law enforcement agencies have been prepping for this tournament for a few months now and the rivalry is heating up.
This week the College Station police department put out a PSA about the tournament and yesterday Bryan PD responded with a rebuttal.
"Well the first recommendation that I always give College Station is to bring band-aids cause you're going to need them and second of all I'm in here clearing out on of our cabinets behind the trophy cases because I'm ready for that broom to come back to Bryan," said Officer Jon Agnew.
Admission to Friday's broomball showdown is five dollars for adults and two for kids. The first match-up starts at 5:45 at the Arctic Wolf Ice Center.
They hope to raise more than two thousand dollars from this years tournament.
