BRYAN -- A man is behind bars tonight after allegedly stealing an air conditioning unit from a local Bryan organization and for driving while intoxicated.
38-year-old, Charlie Guerra, is accused of stealing the unit from Twin City Mission.
A witness told police they saw Guerra pushing the air conditioner down a street with the front of his car.
According to police reports, Guerra told police he almost hit the unit, which he found in the middle of the street.
Guerra is facing a theft charge, punishable by two years in jail and a fine of up to $10,000. He is also charged with a third degree felony for drunk driving because he had at least two prior convictions.
