BRYAN -- A store clerk is recovering in a Bryan hospital after being shot last night during a robbery and the suspect is still missing.

It happened late last night  at the A&A Quick Stop on Woodville Road.

Police received a call around 10:35 from the store clerk saying he'd been shot. The clerk was taken to St. Joseph's hospital with a gunshot wound and now police are asking for your help finding the man responsible.

"We don't have a vehicle description right now. The suspect is just described as a male, medium build who was wearing a mask at the time. The last time he left the building was on foot and that was the only information that the clerk had," said Officer Jon Agnew with the Bryan Police Department.

Police are not sure if the shooter got away with anything but no one else was injured.

If you have any information call the Bryan Police Department or crime stoppers immediately.
