Police responded to a car crash, on Lutheran Church Road, in Coryell County, last night. However, when they arrived, the couple in the vehicle told them about a body they had in the trunk.

The occupants in the vehicle are identified as Steven Barker, and Gwendolyn Greene. Police say they were speeding down the road, with 56-year-old, Catherine Greene in the trunk. When they crashed, the car completely engulfed in flames.

Barker and Gwendolyn Greene were flown to Scott and White Hospital in Temple, for treatment of their injuries.

Police also responded to a crime scene Thursday night, that investigators say is related to this incident.

Barker is now in jail, for aggravated kidnapping, and Gwendolyn Green is charged with assault with a deadly weapon, serious bodily injury, and family violence.

More information will be released after further investigation.
