Central Texans reach out to Japan

Central Texas organizations and churches are sending money donations and providing manual labor, help Japan in any way they can.
Antioch church in Waco is sending a group of people to Japan to help anyone in need. The American Red Cross is taking donations, along with Salvation Army who already has teams in Japan, providing hope and comfort.
Heather Helton, Salvation Army spokesperson says they have opened up their offices in Japan to use as shelters. They are serving food, comforting them, and praying for them.
There are several ways to donate through Salvation Army. You can text the words "quake" or "Japan" to 80888, and also write checks or donate online.
