WACO -- A Central Texas woman is sentenced to life in prison for kidnapping and taking part in her mother's death.

On Monday 20-year-old Gwendolyn Greene of Copperas Cove pleaded guilty to aggravated kidnapping.

She was sentenced to life in prison Wednesday after the April 2011 incident when Greene hit her mother Catherine Greene in the head with a metal pipe and with the help of her fiance Steve Barker, tied her up and threw her in the trunk of a car.

Police later found her body burned beyond recognition after a rollover accident.

Greene will serve a minimum of 30 years before she is eligible for parole.
