A $300,000 urban master plan was unveiled in front of an enthusiastic audience Thursday.
The plan would make the Brazos river the heart of downtown Waco.
About 300 people attended the meeting at the Phoenix Ballroom to learn about and discuss the plan, which will go to the city council this fall.
More restaurants, clothing stores and community outreach buildings are planned for the area.
