WACO -- The heat is going down and so are the water levels at Lake Waco.
Now the last open designated swimming area at Twin Bridges is closed too.
The water is almost 6 feet below normal, down nearly half a foot from two weeks ago.
And those out this afternoon celebrating Labor Day weekend were certainly disappointed, but understanding of the closure.
"Oh they were so disappointed, but you know, it's just how nature is," said one Lake Waco visitor.
No word on when the swimming areas will be back open.
It really just depends on the rain.
But boat ramps and lake side playgrounds are still open to the public.
