COLLEGE STATION -- A College Station bank is robbed at gun point and tonight, police are still looking for the suspect.
The robbery happened just after nine this morning when a man entered the FedStar Credit Union on Harvey Road, displayed a handgun and demanded money.
The suspect was last seen heading north on foot.
As a precaution, College Station ISD temporarily placed all of its schools on a "modified lockdown" and Texas A&M issued a "code maroon," shutting down all of their buses so police could search for the suspect.
Officer Rhonda Seaton, with the College Station police department said, "He is described as a black male, about 5'10" - 5'11", 160 pounds, thin build. He was wearing denim jeans, a dark fleece colored hoodie. He also had a blue-greenish off white patterned scarf covering his face."
Police tell us the suspect was also carrying a dark Nike drawstring "swoosh" backpack with the money in it.
