WACO -- The warm weather means more motorcycles back on the road.
But this weekend was particularly deadly for bikers in Central Texas.
Groesbeck High School teacher Angela Faye Ross died in a motorcycle accident in Madison County Saturday.
Then Sunday morning, Darrell Glenn Horn, 44, died after colliding with a pick up truck outside Lampasas.
Saturday night, Kevin Lewis Patton, 44, was speeding down Waco drive, rear-ended a truck and was thrown from his bike, dying on the scene.
So before you get your bike out here are a few safety precautions to keep in mind.
"Most important thing is for people to wear their helmets, safety gear is the biggest thing. Most of the fatalities have happened in the last couple years have been from people not wearing their gear. Make sure your bike is in tip top condition like you have good tires on there so you get good traction. You need to make sure your breaks work properly, make sure your bike's not leaking," Waco Motorsports salesman and motorcycle rider, David Hawes said.
Hawes says it's also important for both bikers and drivers to be more aware of each other out on the road.
