WACO -- People living in the Flat Creek RV Resort in Robinson are back at home tonight after they were evacuated early this morning.

Around 3 a.m.,, the small creek behind the park on Greig Drive rose more than 20 feet, flooding the area.

Pattie Hall and her husband were staying in their camper and recall what happened this morning.

"Our neighbor coming across screaming our name, telling us we needed to evacuate. I opened up the door and water was to our second step of our fifth wheel. I was like in awe, panicking because we have 6 animals. So I called 911 to find out what to do, and they said stay put fire and rescue was coming to get us," Hall said.

Robinson Fire Department helped get people out of their trailers and brought them to the police department.

They were able to return around 8 this morning.

Thankfully, no one was injured, but there was some property damage.
