WACO -- A gas explosion was narrowly avoided Thursday in a Waco suburb. Just Wednesday, a gas pipeline explosion in Pennsylvania claimed the life of one, left five missing and 500 people were evacuated.
In Beverly Hills, authorities say the same situation could have happened if any kind of spark would have ignited.
A construction crew was working on a home last night in the 3800 block of Acree when they hit a high-pressure gas line.
Police say homes in the area were evacuated, and thankfully nothing sparked, avoiding a deathly explosion.
