GATESVILLE- Police tell us 18-year-old Nathaniel Seth Gray was arrested this morning after another student told their parents that Gray said he had intentions to bring a gun to school, shoot certain people that were close to him, and then open fire randomly on other students.

The school superintendent, Stewert Spear told us he was surprised since he had just spoken to Gray yesterday.

Spear said Gray had a rough home life, but claimed he "loved school."

The school says they plan to punish Gray as much as the law will allow.

Gray is in the Coryell County Jail charged with making terroristic threats.

The school resumed normal classes around 8:15 this morning.
