A Gatesville man is in state prison for sexually assaulting a mentally disabled 16-year-old.
Coryell County deputies responded to a call at Christopher Mobley's mothers home, where they found him in the laundry room with a knife in his neck.
Police say Mobley was arrested in June at Scott and White Hospital in Temple, after he was treated for the knife wound from a possible suicide attempt.
A warrant was issued for Mobley, for four sexual assaults involving the girl.
Mobley was sentenced to 20 years in state prison on Monday.
