WACO -- When it comes to getting rid of old electronics, where there's a will, there's a way.
Texas does have a take back law requiring companies to take back old electronics to be disposed of properly, but there's another way.
Goodwill can take your old electronics and refurbish them or dispose of them for you.
That way landfills aren't polluted with the e-waste.
"It's really important that when people are recycling their old computers that that is done responsibly, and they're not giving it to the landfills. So, we see a lot of old computers coming in January when people have gotten new things at Christmas, and we take care of recycling those things responsibly," said Shannon Kendrick with Heart of Texas Goodwill.
State Legislature are also working to do the same take back law for televisions.
