COLLEGE STATION -- A Guadalupe County judge is busted in College Station after he was caught with pot in his hotel room.

Judge Michael Wiggins was staying at the Hilton Hotel this week for a county commissioner's training session according to the Seguin Gazette.

Officers were called to the hotel late Monday night when a bellman reported smelling burnt marijuana coming from the fifth floor.

"He was able to track it to a certain door he felt it was coming from," said Officer Rhonda Seaton. "The bellman knocked on the door and when the occupant opened it the officer could smell marijuana coming from it and he said it was very overwhelming the smell of marijuana."

Police tell us Michael Wiggins was cooperative and admitted to having the marijuana hidden in his duffel bag.

Wiggins has since bonded out of jail.
