GATESVILLE -- A Coryell County jury handed down to 22-year-old Travis Brazil,  a former Fort Hood soldier, for killing a man and shooting his wife.

Brazil was sentenced to life without parole Monday night. Brazil and 20-year-old Pfc. Brandon Walker were robbing fellow solider, Frank Schreiber, and his wife Leila's home when the shooting happened.

In exchange for a lesser sentence, Walker testified against Brazil saying brazil did the shooting that killed Schreiber and injured his wife.
