The Waco Police Department respond to a call regarding a possible robbery late last night. However, when officers got to the scene, they realized they had a more serious situation on their hands.

Last night, Michael Crawford led Waco police on a chase from Waco to Clifton. Mr. Crawford reportedly found his ex-wife with another man, which led him to assault her, and the man she was with, Troy Webb. Mr. Crawford cut them both with a box cutter after damaging their personal property. After assaulting them, he kidnapped Ms. Crawford and dropped her off in the Emergency Room paring lot, at Providence Hospital, in Waco.

Crawford police informed the Waco Police Department that Mr. Crawford may be heading towards his parents house in Clifton. Waco police said that once Mr. Crawford arrived in Clifton, near his parents house, they were able to convince him to pull over. They arrested him and took him to McLennan County Jail.

While the investigation is still taking place, police say Mr. Crawford was arrested on two accounts of Aggravated Assault, Aggravated Kidnapping, Criminal Mischief, Fail to Stop and Identify, and Evading Arrest.
