Killeen Police investigate weekend Subway shooting

A Killeen man was arrested after shots were fired during an altercation at a Subway early Saturday.

Officer responded to a report of a fight in progress at the Subway on the 1200 block of Lowes Boulevard. While the officers were in route, they were informed that shots were fired and then told there was a shooting victim at the scene. As officers arrived, they were told by witnesses that a silver Pontiac 4-door occupied by four people had just sped off. Officer left the scene and found the silver Pontiac approaching the area of Lowes Boulevard and Trimmier Road.Officer stopped the vehicle on the 800 block of East CTE. Four people, two females and two males were taken into custody and taken to the Killeen City Jail.

A 52,19, and 24-year-old man were taken to local medical centers where they were treated for minor injuries and released.

The two females were charged with misdemeanors, they were released from custody after posting their fine. The two males are being held while this case is reviewed by the Bell County District Attorney’s Office.

The names of the suspects have been withheld pending issuance of complaints by the Bell County District Attorney’s Office.
