Local superintendent arrested for DWI

MART -- A Central Texas superintendent is arrested for driving while intoxicated.

Todd Gooden, 38, is the superintendent for Mart ISD and he was arrested on Sunday morning for allegedly driving while intoxicated.

He's been with the school district for nearly 10 years and took leave this morning.

The district tells us they're holding a special school board meeting with him on Thursday.

I have to admit I didn't think we were going here either. I'm still sort of in denail. Rachel if there's something we could be doing to help (beyond writing the legislature), please let us know.My4 and a half year old broke into applause when Jerry Brown affirmed that he wanted to protect schools. He wants to protect MY school? Yay! Let's hope he can.
