COLLEGE STATION -- It was a football game for the history books.
After 118 years, the rivalry between the Aggies and the Longhorns came to a bittersweet end during last night's final match-up at Kyle Field.
And what was supposed to be an end of the season celebration for the Aggies turned into an upsetting loss after the Longhorns won the game with a last-minute field goal, winning 27 to 25.
Fox 28 spoke to Aggie fans today who say they're devastated by the loss.
"The schools taunt each other back and forth but there's always that next year to get them back or beat 'em again or make up for the prior year loss and now we're going to be riding on this loss for at least 8 years so it's going to be hard to handle," said Todd Ray.
Longhorn fans we spoke to, however couldn't be happier.
