Man charged with DWI after striking sheriff's deputy

COLLEGE STATION --A Brazos County Sheriff's Deputy is recovering tonight after his patrol car was hit by a drunk driver early Sunday morning.

The accident happened around 2:15 a.m. when 25 year-old James Sifuentez failed to yield on a left turn signal, colliding with Deputy Christopher Moynihan's vehicle.

Moynihan was taken to College Station Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries and Sifuentez has been charged with drunk driving.
