WACO -- Around 8:45 Thursday night a man walking down the street in Waco was shot in the wrist.
it happened on the 1600 block of Ross when a 26-year old Hispanic male was walking down the street, heard a gun shot and realized he'd been shot in the wrist.
Police tell us a friend then brought him to Hillcrest Hospital.
"We don't know at this point if it was random, if someone was just firing a the gun and intentionally shot him, or if they were firing the gun and accidentally shot him, we don't know," Sgt. Patrick Swanton with Waco Police Department said.
Police are still investigating where the shot came from and why the shot was fired.
