STILLHOUSE HOLLOW -- Diver's at Stillhouse lake near Belton recovered a man's body Monday evening after he fell in and never re-surfaced.
Police were called out to River's Bend Park around 5:30 after reports of a 20-year-old man disappeared under the surface of the water.
The man's uncle tried to swim out and save him but had to return to shore when he got into trouble himself.
One local lake goer said the incident should encourage everyone to take extra precaution especially with dangerous lake levels.
"You're out there at your own risk, but, if you can't swim stay out of the water. Or have on some kind of life preserver in order to maintain safety on the water."
Diver's recovered the man's body around 7:30, where he had been swimming in about 15 feet of water.
He was reportedly visiting from El Salvador.
