WACO -- After seven years in office, Waco Mayor Jim Bush announces he's not seeking re-election this year.

Bush says he needs to focus more on his construction company and is passing on his support to Councilman Malcolm Duncan, Jr.

This potential position swap isn't new for Bush and Duncan. When Bush became mayor in 2010, Duncan was appointed to Bush's District 5 seat.

Elections will be held may 12th.
