Mental evaluation for Maj. Nidal Hasan postponed

An extension for the mental evaluation of Maj. Nidal Hasan, was granted by the army Colonel, and is now set for next week.
This evaluation will decide whether Maj. Hasan is capable to stand trial for the shootings at Fort Hood.
The panel met with Maj. Hasan several times last month to determine his mental capacity. They will continue reviewing their findings.
After review, Army officials will decide if Maj. Hasan will stand trial for 13 counts of premeditated murder, and 32 counts of attempted premeditated murder.
