WACO -- It's school immunization crunch time again and local clinics are filling up quickly with those trying to meet the Texas standards before school starts.
There are a few new ones to lookout for this year.
"7th graders every year require booster shots but they have one more booster shot that they need. They're gonna need their tetnis, they're gonna need chicken pox booster if they haven't already received that yet and then the new one is, it's call Menactra, and it's for bacterial meningitis," Kelly Craine with the Waco-McLennan County Public Health District said.
Also new this year, all college freshman must get the meningitis vaccine.
This is different from years past because only those living on campus needed to be vaccinated.
Also, clinics recommend coming in early to beat the rush, and to remember to bring your most up-to-date shot records with you.
