WACO -- An old sign now hangs in the spot where Fat Ho Burger's new slogan used to be.
"Fat Ho Burgers. You are what you eat."
That's what the sign said, but Owner Lakita Evans pulled into the restaurant Tuesday morning to find it was gone.
"I was like it wasn't no thunderstorm. So my other signs still hanging, their sign still hanging," Evans explains as she wondered what happened to her sign.
Fat Ho Burgers is famous for it's controversial name, leading customers to think it was all a prank.
"Something like that, there's no way you're not going to want that in your room somewhere," joked a customer at the burger joint, William Cohen.
But whoever wanted the sign, found it necessary to pull down a chunk of the roof with it.
That coupled with several threatening phone calls Wednesday, has Evans wondering if someone was sending a message to change the name.
"I'm trying to get why they had to take my whole ledge off. I don't care about the sign."
Evans said callers are harassing her, calling her names and telling her to close the restaurant.
Local sign companies were already in the restaurant Wednesday offering to make a new sign for Evans' Fat Ho Burgers. She just hopes that it wont get more serious than the missing sign.
Now the owner is going to focus on opening another Fat Ho Burgers in Dallas.
