Baylor Bears star player, Perry Jones III, announced Tuesday that he will be back with Baylor next season.
He has decided to skip the NBA draft, and come back to the Bears, even though he was predicted to be one of the top five draft picks.
Jones says, "I'm gonna stay another year. It's gonna be a better year this coming of a year definitely, and I'm just, right now, I'm just excited to be able to come back and be able to play with these guys again."
Averaging around 14 points and seven rebounds a game, Perry also held a school record starting 30 games as a Freshman.
They Baylor community seems surprised by his decision, but are looking forward to what he will bring to the team next year.
