WACO -- The partnership between Planned Parenthood and Susan G. Komen for the Cure has split.

For about 12 years, Komen for the Cure has provided a match grant for Planned Parenthood of Central Texas which went directly toward breast and cervical cancer screenings.

Now, with the national split between the organizations, Planned Parenthood of Central Texas will be out about 50,000 dollars starting March 2013.

This coming after the two-thirds family planning cut of governmental funds this year.

"It's devastating that women in Waco will suffer, because of a decision at the national level. We are dedicated to, no matter what funding cuts we get from our external sources, we will do everything we can to find the sources," Felicia Goodman, Planned Parenthood of Central Texas spokesperson said.

The cuts will directly effect the screening and preventative services Planned Parenthood provides for Central Texans unable to receive care anywhere else.

Planned parenthood said they suspect the break is politically driven.
