WACO -- Tonight police are investigating four suspects they believe are connected to a string of "pigeon drop" cases happening up and down the I-35 and I-45 corridor.
On Wednesday, Waco officers stopped the men after spotting a suspicious car near a Wells Fargo Bank on 3rd and Franklin.
The suspects matched the descriptions of previous pigeon drop cases.
Well-dressed black males with large bundles of money and police seized the money, bank statements, an unclaimed Rolex watch and banking envelopes from the rented vehicle.
So far no arrests have been made but police are trying to connect these men with a string on scams happening in Central Texas.
They warn you if someone you don't know comes up and asks for help depositing a large amount of cash, call police because it is a scam and you could lose thousands of dollars...
