A woman was robbed last night at the Lone Star Motel in Waco. One of the suspects, Joshua Batey, is her ex-boyfriend.

Police say Batey and David Means broke into Samantha Shoaf's room, and assaulted her while pointing a gun at her head. After the robbery, the suspects went straight to the hospital, because Means had been shot. Police believe that Batey accidently shot Means while they were leaving the motel.

One man who has lived at the motel for years says he enjoys staying there and doesn't plan on leaving anytime soon.

The owner says the motel is normally very quiet and safe, and he constantly monitors the surveillance cameras. However, since Ms. Shoaf moved in two weeks ago, her ex-boyfriend has broken into her room two times.

Police say Batey was arrested at the hopsital and charged with Aggravated Robbery. Means is stil in the hospital and has not yet been charged.
