WACO -- Making sure every mouth is fed on Thanksgiving, the Waco Salvation Army served up a hot meal today to anyone who needed it.
People were lined up outside the doors of the army's community kitchen waiting for some warm turkey and delicious pumpkin pie.
We spoke with one man spending his first Thanksgiving without his family, who said beside the food being delicious, it's the welcoming atmosphere that makes it all special.
"We see so much today about what's bad in the world and it's, you know I've seen a lot of good in the world since I've came to Waco and here at the Salvation Army. These kids from Baylor show up everyday to volunteer. Every single day. Um, it just, it just blows me away," said Stephen Turner.
With the help of over 100 volunteers, the Salvation Army provided meals for both lunch and dinner.
