Two deputies recovering after standoff

WHITNEY -- Two Hill County sheriff's deputies are recovering tonight after being shot Wednesday during a domestic disturbance call in Whitney.
Commander Larry Armstrong and Deputy Kevin McCarty responded to a domestic dispute when a man started shooting at the officers.
The suspect in the shooting was shot and killed by the deputies during the standoff.
Both deputies were sent to the Whitney hospital but are not in critical condition.
