MCLENNAN COUNTY -- Two young men have been indicted in the shooting death of a Lorena High School football player.
A McLennan County grand jury has decided there's enough evidence to send 28-year-old Willie Contreas and 17-year-old Leonard Trey Nino to trial in the shooting death of 17-year-old Nathan Romo.
It happened in March at Guthrie Park in Waco. Police say Romo and several of his friends went to the park to meet Nino after a dispute when Romo was shot in the head.
Romo died at a local hospital days later where his parents fulfilled his wish of being an organ donor.
