UPDATE: Ft. Hood soldier killed in motorcycle crash

The man killed in this wreck has been identified as Michael Robert Wall, a Fort Hood soldier. The woman remains in a local hospital in serious but stable condition.

This crash continues to be investigated and information will be released as it becomes available.

One person is in serious condition and another is killed during a weekend motorcycle crash.

Killeen authorities are investigating the fatal wreck that happened on Saturday on Stagecoach Road.

Officers were called at around 4:41 p.m. to a crash at the intersection of Stagecoach Rd. and Green Oaks Rd. involving a Jeep and motorcycle.

Police tell KWKT the motorcycle, carrying a man and woman, was headed west on Stagecoach when a Jeep, carrying three women, was traveling east on Stagecoach at the same intersection. The driver of the Jeep made a left turn and the vehicles collided, throwing both passenger from the motorcycle.

Both motorcycle passengers were flown to a nearby hospital.

The 26-year old man died as a result of his injuries and was pronounced dead at 5:49 p.m. The 29-year old woman is in serious but stable condition. The rear passenger in the Jeep received minor injuries; the driver and the front passenger were uninjured.

The name of the deceased has been withheld pending notification of his next of kin.

This crash is still under investigation.
