TEMPLE -- A man was hit by an 18-wheeler this morning on Interstate 35 at mile marker 301 in Temple. It happened around 5:30 a.m.

Police aren't releasing his name yet, but say he was attempting to cross the interstate and was hit by several vehicles and an 18-wheeler.

Police say the other vehicles keep going after hitting the man because they couldn't see him in the dark.
