Vanhoose senteneced in intoxication manslaughter case

BRAZOS COUNTY -- A man charged with intoxication manslaughter receives a three year sentence in jail.

23-year-old Kasey Vanhoose is responsible for the death of his passenger, 21-year-old Bradley Abbe. The accident occurred in April of 2009 when the two left from Chilifest in Vanhoose's truck. Vanhoose lost control of the vehicle, flipped it and hit a tree.

He currently has one DWI case pending and was convicted of another DWI prior to the accident.
