WACO -- The Waco Parks and Recreation just released a new booklet with four years worth of work and city contributions for what the Brazos and Bosque river corridors could be.

The booklet is called "For all of Our Lifetimes: A Vision for the Brazos and Bosque Rivers," and includes ideas such as preserving the natural beauty of the rivers but also developing the areas to include shopping, restaurants and other attractions on the river.

"This was driven in large part by public input. That vision is what I think is valuable about it. It tells decision makers, tell perspective business owners, here's what the people of Waco would like their river to be," Rusty Black, Director of Waco Parks and Recreation said.

They are now working to get the councils endorsement. Black said this is an ongoing project as peoples ideas and needs change.
