COLLEGE STATION -- Now that one of the biggest rivalries in college football has come to an end, what happens to all of the Longhorn merchandise that local Aggie stores sell?
Stores like CC Creations in College Station have always done well selling items that poke fun of UT.
Shirts, koozies, jackets, you name it and they've made it but those items won't be printed for much longer since the rivalry seems to be over for now.
So if you still want a shirt bidding farewell to UT, you might want to go ahead and get it now while you still can.
"There probably won't be any new things that we make but we'll just look to kind of manage how the rest of the spring adds up and then after the spring ends, when all the games have been finished with TU, we'll definitely look to clearance the merchandise out and start some new beginnings and different conference material with the SEC," said president of CC Creations, Kenny Lawson.
And even though the Longhorn merchandise has been a best-seller for the business, Lawson says he isn't too worried about switching out the old with the new as the Aggies head to the SEC.
