Waco, TX — The man shot by Waco Police last month who were responding to a domestic disturbance call has been indicted on federal drug and weapon charges.
Michael Ray Hall, 46, was shot on January 11th in the neck by police after Hall’s girlfriend warned them he may be armed inside the home.
Hall is being charged with possession of at least 50 grams of methamphetamine and two counts of illegal possession of a firearm.
The officer who shot Hall, 23-year veteran Officer Hans Fitting, is still on mandatory administrative leave until the investigation of the shooting is complete.
If convicted, Hall could be sentenced to more than 50 years in federal prison.
